Conclusively I chose magazine advert one as my
finalised product for the cover. Due to having stronger and more positive feedback
from the target audience, highly encouraged me to use this design as my final
piece rather than my second design. I fitted all the guidelines necessary to
produce a realistic EDM genre album poster. First of all, by clearly stated in
bold the artists name, as well in the same font which also appears on my
digipak in order to represent continuity between the two products. I presented
the most highly anticipated new song in the centre of the page in order to
capture the audience’s attention more, considering the music video for the new
song is being released before any of the other new tracks on the album,
standing it to have higher importance and value. As well, stating boldly the
album title at the top of the page, making it very visible to audience members
that the album is brand new. With the addition of logos where the new album and
featured track can be purchased from. Finishing off the cover by quoting at the
bottom of the page a lyric from the new featured track. Further enabling the
persistence between all three main products. Therefore, making this the perfect
final poster to present to my target audience in hope to draw in lots of
anticipation and excitement.
