Prelim

For our prelim we decided to choose the first 30 seconds of the music video 'Never forget you' by Zara Larsson and MNEK. We chose this particular video as it involved various different camera angles, locations, props as well as different characters and felt as though it would be entertaining to our audience. It took us about 2 hours roughly to film the whole thing, and another 2 hours to edit, in order to attempt making it fit the original music video as much as we possibly could. We found this particularly difficult due to having to fit each take precisely second to second. However, we tried our best and intended for the best possible outcome.

Chosen prelim music video

We conclusively chose to copy the first 30 seconds of the music video 'Never forget you' by Zara Larsson, MNEK. We chose to re-enact the beginning of this video as we felt it included a wide variety of shots we could work with and different characters for each of our group to play. We have commenced our storyboarding and plan to film sometime this week.

Prelim plan

I have formed a group with my class-mates Izabell and George to create our prelim music video. We plan on it being a pop genre song with our current top options being:

1) Never forget you - Zara Larsson, MNEK
2) Tik Tok - Kesha
3) You belong with me - Taylor Swift

We plan on the music video featuring one or more of us in it, whilst the other person will be directing.
