What I learnt from planning and research

I had already gained planning skills from previously story-boarding and researching for my AS production, so when it came to doing A2 allowed me to further expand my development and progression of understanding the importance in doing this before actually shooting the footage. Through research and planning, allowed me to look into the codes and convention of my chosen genre, similar artists and music videos drawing inspiration from as well as the initial storyboard. However, the one struggle I had with designing my A2 storyboard was that the scenes we planned on filming were so broad it was difficult to plan on paper, unlike our AS which could be easily planned, especially for camera shots. For AS the scenes we chose to film had a more 'randomness' sense to them, as we did not always plan our locations and instead just let each destination lead us to the next one however still remaining in our chosen location of central London.
